Join the Scouts of Troop 728 for their Fall Court of Honor, to be held Saturday, October 3, 2-4pm, outside in Isham Park (across the street from Good Shepherd School). Social distancing and masks required. (Also Scout Spirit!) Girls troop in formation.
Troop 728 meets outside and in-person this Wednesday, September 23, from 5:30-7:00pm. This is the first official meeting of the 2020-21 Scouting year. Social distancing in effect and masks required. Troop 728’s March 2020 Ski Trip to Mount Snow, Vermont!
September 27-29, 2019, Troop 728 heads to Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation in Stanhope, NJ, to work on their canoeing skills and prepare for their end of year paddle trip, being planned now by the Patrol Leaders Council. SM David Russell and ASM Gabe Florimon will lead this trip. For more details, click here!
Join the Scouts of Troop 728 for Scout Day in Inwood Hill Park! Try your hand at some of the basic Scouts BSA skills: knots, first aid, navigation and more. Boys and girls ages 7-17 are eligible to become Scouts. For more information, email info@troop728.org.

Troop 728’s first meeting of the 2019-2020 scout season is Wednesday, September 11, from 7:30-9:00 PM at Good Shepherd School gym, located at 108 Cooper Street in Inwood, NYC. Join us to hear from the Patrol Leader’s Council and new scoutmaster David Russell. Parents are encouraged to attend. We have an exciting year of adventure, learning and leadership development planned!
Troop 728 expresses heartfelt thanks to outgoing Troop 728 Scoutmaster Terence Dolan, for many years of faithful service. Thank you Terence for guiding Troop 728 through sometimes stormy waters, for serving as Scoutmaster, and for agreeing to continue your lifelong commitment to Troop 728 as our next Chartered Organization Representative!
Troop 728 also thanks the Honorable Efrain Alvarado, for his wise and prudent leadership as Troop 728’s Chartered Organization Representative! Rest easy Scouts; Efrain may be passing the COR baton, but, like Terry, he isn’t going anywhere!
